SHOWE App Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the SHOWE mobile application and related services (“App”).
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Who We Are

2. What SHOWE Does
SHOWE provides:

QR programme access

Digital programme library

Event tools and features

Optional ticket wallet integrations

Optional venue messaging
-
Optional travel and venue info
-
Optional interactive content and advertising
We are a platform provider, not the organiser of events.
2A. SHOWE’s Role as Platform Provider
SHOWE acts as a technology platform and agent on behalf of venues, producers, and event organisers.
When you access or purchase a digital programme or related content:

The programme is provided by the venue or event organiser (“Venue”)

The contract for that programme is between you and the Venue, not SHOWE
-
SHOWE does not sell or supply programmes as a principal
SHOWE’s role is limited to:
-
hosting and delivering programme content
-
facilitating access and interaction
-
processing payments on behalf of venues where applicable
3. Account Registration
To use certain features you must create an account.
You agree to:

Provide accurate details
-
Keep login credentials secure
-
Not share your account
-
Notify us of unauthorised use
You are responsible for activity under your account.
We may suspend accounts used improperly.
4. Purchases & Payments
Some programmes or features may require payment.
Where a programme is paid:

The programme is sold by the Venue, not SHOWE
-
Your contract is with the Venue providing the programme
Payments may be processed:

via venue websites
-
through integrated payment providers
-
through SHOWE acting as agent on behalf of the Venue
Where SHOWE facilitates payment:

we collect funds on behalf of the Venue
-
we may deduct our commission and processing fees
SHOWE does not act as the merchant of record unless explicitly stated.
Refunds, cancellations, and disputes are governed by the Venue’s terms, not SHOWE.
5. Digital Programme Access
Programmes may be:

Free or paid
-
Time-limited
-
Event-linked
-
Cached temporarily on your device
Access may expire based on:

Venue settings
-
Event timing
-
Licensing restrictions
Programmes are licensed, not sold.
You may not redistribute them.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

Copy or redistribute programmes
-
Reverse engineer the app
-
Attempt to bypass payment
-
Upload harmful content
-
Interfere with systems
-
Scrape data
-
Use automation tools
-
Abuse messaging features
7. Venue Content & Accuracy
Venues are solely responsible for the provision and delivery of their programmes, including any paid content.
SHOWE does not guarantee:

Accuracy
-
Completeness
-
Event changes
-
Line-up changes
-
Timing accuracy
Always confirm critical details with the venue.
8. Ticket & Wallet Features
Where ticket wallet features are enabled:

Data is provided by ticketing partners
-
Ticket validity is controlled by venues
-
Entry decisions are made by venues
SHOWE is not responsible for entry refusal.
9. Notifications
The App may send:

Event reminders
-
Programme updates
-
Venue messages
-
Feature alerts
-
Offers (where consent given)
You can control notification preferences in settings.
Location-based alerts require opt-in permission.
10. Community & Interaction Features
If enabled, features may include:

Likes
-
Favourites
-
Feedback
-
Interactive content
-
Engagement actions
You must not submit abusive or unlawful content.
11. Advertising & Sponsored Content
Programmes may contain:

Sponsored content
-
Advertisements
-
Partner links
These are provided by venues or sponsors.
SHOWE is not responsible for advertiser claims.
12. Data & Privacy
We process personal data according to our Privacy Policy.
This includes:

Account data

Usage analytics
-
Engagement data
-
Preferences
-
Technical logs
We use:

Legitimate interests where appropriate

13. Availability
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The App may be unavailable due to:

14. Device & Platform Limits
Performance depends on:

Network

Venue configuration
Older devices may not support all features.
15. Intellectual Property
The App and platform belong to SHOWE.
Programmes belong to venues or rights holders.
You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use content.
No copying or redistribution allowed.
16. Termination
We may suspend or close accounts for:

Breach of Terms

Abuse

Fraud

Security risk
You may stop using the App at any time.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
SHOWE is not liable for:

Event cancellations

Venue errors
-
Ticket issues

Lost enjoyment

Indirect losses
Liability is limited to amounts you paid us directly in the last 12 months.
Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms.
Material changes will be notified.
Continued use = acceptance.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction.
