The Showe Group Ltd (“SHOWE”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the SHOWE mobile application and associated web platform that delivers interactive digital programmes and event services. We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy.

SHOWE acts as the data controller for personal data collected through the platform.
Venue partners receive only aggregated and anonymised data unless otherwise required to deliver a specific service requested by the user.

Event & Ticket Data

  • Ticket reference numbers (via venue ticketing integrations)

  • Events attended

  • Programme purchases

Device & Technical Data

  • Device type

  • Operating system

  • App version

  • Anonymous identifiers

  • Push notification tokens

Optional Data (Only With Consent)

  • Location data for venue proximity alerts

  • Marketing preferences

  • Favourite venues

Behavioural Interaction Data

  • This includes user responses to interactive features within programmes (such as reactions, polls, and engagement inputs), timing of interactions, and patterns of use during events.

  • This data is used to analyse audience behaviour, measure engagement levels, generate aggregated insights for venues, and improve user experience and platform performance.

We do not collect special category data.

 

3. How We Use Your Data

Payment transactions are processed by third-party providers. SHOWE does not store or have access to full payment card details.

We do not sell personal data and do not permit third parties to use personal data for their own marketing purposes.

 

7. Venue Partners

When you attend an event and access a venue programme:

 

  • Venues receive aggregated and anonymised engagement data only. This data does not identify individual users and cannot reasonably be used to re-identify any individual.

  • This may include interaction rates, engagement levels, and usage patterns

  • Venues do not receive personally identifiable information unless required for a specific service you have requested (such as ticket integration)

 

Venues cannot contact you or use your data for marketing unless you have given explicit consent.

 

8. Advertising & Tracking

Interactive advertisements inside programmes may record:

  • Click events

  • Interaction counts

  • Engagement duration

This data is aggregated and used to measure effectiveness. It is not sold to third parties. We may use engagement and usage data to personalise content, recommendations, and user experience within the app.

This does not involve automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

You can control personalisation features through your app settings.
